Network Editor Window

Network SSID

Service Set Identifier of the remote station.

BSSID

Basic Service Set Identifier of the remote station.

Network Mode

Network mode of the remote station. Can be infrastructure or ad-hoc.

Network Type

Security type of the remote station. Can be none, WEP, WPA or WPA2.

Network Key

Security key or pass phrase to use for connecting. It could be in ASCII (WEP, WPA or WPA2) or hex (WEP).

Key Type

This automatically determined property shows whether the key is ASCII or hex.

Key Length

This automatically determined property shows the length of the network key.

Automatically Connect

Decides if we should automatically connect to the network when in Connection Manager Mode.

Match BSSID

When checked, the selected profile will only match a detected network when the profile BSSID matches the network BSSID.

Auto Connect Priority

Priority of the selected network profile. A lower number means higher priority is given to the profile.

Save Button

Saves a new profile or saves the edited profile. Remember to press enter after editing fields like the Network Key, before saving.

Cancel Button

Cancels the operation and returns the Network Profiles Window.
